Sugarpill Haul / First Thoughts

It's been forever that I've posted something! I figured a picture heavy haul would be a nice chance to get myself reacquainted with blogging. I promise more posts are coming the future!

I personally like wearing bright colors in both makeup and clothing, but I never tried a brand like this! Sugarpill is known for its highly pigmented eyeshadows in bright and fun colors. No neutrals here!

I bought the ever-popular palette in Flaming Heart, a single eyeshadow in Dollypop, and a Chromalust in Paperdoll. I also received a Chromalust sample in Birthday Girl, but couldn’t bear to swatch it since I’d like to use it eventually haha!

And now on to the pictures!

Adorable packaging! Bright pink tissue paper to make me even more excited for the products.

Uh oh. One of those boxes i'll never be able to part with! Looks like i'll have to make more room in my collection!!

Sticking to the amazing packaging scheme, the actual products don't disappoint!

Top: Flamepoint, Buttercupcake
Bottom: Love+, Poison Plum

My thoughts: If you think these aren't pigmented enough then please blame my poor swatches! In person they are vibrant, beautiful, and last very long. The Chromalust had the least pigmentation, but still enough to show! I'm sure by adding more than one layer and possibly adding a medium to it, it will be gorgeous. And ughhh those sparkles <3 The flash picture accurately shows just how super beautiful it is.

These are really great products for people that love color! They can even be toned down a bit to be worn on days you don’t want to stand out as much. I definitely plan on getting more in the future (especially those pigments).

Expect some looks in the future using these! (Both crazy and wearable).

Thanks for reading and have a great day! xx

    1. Tell me about it! I certainly had to talk myself into spending all this money, haha!
But if you're willing to wait for a sale, i'm sure you'll enjoy it. Or perhaps try an alternative like NYX (http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/nyx/nyx-single-eyeshadow/16150&cat=0&page=1)
They have similar bold colors. I can't vouch for any specific dupes, but I know NYX eyeshadows in general are great and pigmented!

      Thanks for reading xx
